Step 1: Access and Prepare Your Files on Your Phone

Before you head to the kiosk, make sure your document is saved or accessible on your phone. MIMO kiosks support a variety of popular formats, including:

• PDF (.pdf): The recommended format for assignments, resumes, and text documents. PDFs lock in your formatting, fonts, and layout, ensuring what you see on your screen is exactly what prints out.
• Word Documents (.doc, .docx): Standard text documents are fully supported.
• Images (.jpg, .jpeg, .png): Ideal for scanning study notes, receipts, or project sketches.

If your assignment is in Google Drive, OneDrive, or Apple iCloud, open the respective app on your mobile device and export or download the file as a PDF to your local storage. This will make it much easier to select during the upload phase.

After selecting your document, the MIMO interface will display the details of your document (such as page count). Now, you can customize your output options based on your assignment requirements:

• Color vs. Black & White: Black & white laser prints are highly affordable (just ₹2.30 per page), while vibrant color prints are available (₹10 per page) for charts and slides.
• Copies: Choose how many duplicates of the document you need.
• Double-sided (Duplex): Check if your document can be printed double-sided to save paper and lighten your bag.

Once you've customized your settings, the dashboard will compute your total fare dynamically. There are no hidden setup fees or surprise charges.

Step 4: Pay Securely via UPI or Card

Tap the payment button. You will be redirected to our secure payment gateway powered by Cashfree. You can complete the payment in seconds using:

• UPI: Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, or your bank's UPI app.
• Cards: Any debit or credit card.
• Net Banking: Secure logins for major banks.

After a successful transaction, the browser will instantly display your secure 4-digit print code. This code is also saved in your dashboard and valid for 24 hours.

Step 5: Collect Your Printout at the Kiosk

Walk up to the nearest MIMO kiosk on campus.

1. Locate the terminal's touch keypad.
2. Enter your secure 4-digit code.
3. Confirm your details and watch as the physical printer spools and ejects your pages in real-time.

If there's ever a hardware issue (such as the printer running out of paper or a power fault), the kiosk will report the problem, and our backend will trigger an automatic refund directly to your original payment method. You'll see a green "Refund in Progress" message on your phone screen, ensuring you never pay for a failed print.
